This part of the site will cover the best bands and artists from in and around  Glasgow from the year 2000 onwards, We have often been critisized for not backing new or current  bands. So ANY band who is packing the crowds into venues or are rated as really good by our team will be added to......GLASBAND 2000..

The Crossover from GB80 to GB2000 could not be better brought about by including the first band on Glasband 2000....... BEECAKE...... John, Billy and BJ were playing all over Glasgow in a band called "Foreign Country" from the late 80s and got back together a few years ago with Rick Martin as BEECAKE, recently playing the ABC in Glasgow to launch their album " SOUL SWIMMING" .
